Security
The municipality owns the data, files, and reports.
Solicitors and IT people should be able to read this page without translating marketing. Here is the actual model.
What we run on
The desk is custom-built municipal software, running on Google’s infrastructure and security protocols, tailored for each municipality. There is no IT cost to the municipality for a new system. We do not ask you to stand up a private server.
Who owns the records
Data, files, and reports stay as data the municipality owns. We run the software. We do not claim the records, and we do not treat the file as our product to withhold. Access is granted to named staff, not a shared password on a sticky note.
Google’s security protocols
The desk runs inside Google’s security protocols: encryption in transit, controls for data at rest, and named logins — not a shared password on a sticky note. When someone leaves the program, access is revoked.
What we are not claiming
Google Cloud carries substantial third-party audits (including SOC reports and, for some Google government offerings, FedRAMP authorizations). Those are Google’s certifications, inherited as infrastructure — they are not a FedRAMP authorization of Be Safe Inspections as a vendor. If your solicitor needs the current Google compliance packet, we will walk through it with them instead of dressing it up as ours.
Insurance and court files
Inspection work is performed under Be Safe Inspections, LLC. Court appearance, file handling, and records requests follow our published policy. Ask for current insurance certificates with the proposal.
Next step
Have your solicitor send the questions.
Named logins, Google’s infrastructure and security protocols, and who owns the files. We will answer in writing — not with a sales deck.
